Andrey S. Bryukhovetskiy is a distinguished figure in the field of medical sciences, especially known for his outstanding contributions to neurology, neuro-oncology and neurorestoration. His academic path began at the Vladivostok State Medical University, where he received basic education from 1976 to 1980, and then moved to the military medical faculty of the Gorky State Medical Institute. Bryukhovetsky developed his specialization through various internships and residencies, including training in radiobiology and neurology. It is noteworthy that Bryukhovetsky served in the medical service of the Russian Navy for more than two decades, rising to the position of chief neurologist of the Russian Navy, and then retired with the rank of colonel. During his tenure, he also played an important role in scientific research and academia, in particular as the head of the interdepartmental laboratory of neurotransplantology and tissue engineering of nervous diseases of the All-Union Institute of Transplantology and Artificial Organs of the USSR Ministry of Health. Bryukhovetsky's scientific prowess is reflected in his extensive dissertations and scientific works, numbering more than 250 publications and 16 scientific monographs. He has the highest qualification categories in neurology and healthcare organization, as well as numerous certificates in the field of emergency neurology, cell transplantation and rehabilitation of the disabled. His research efforts have resulted in 32 patented inventions, including methods for the fabrication of neuroendoprosthetic systems and the diagnosis of neurodegenerative diseases. Bryukhovetsky also played a key role in various scientific projects, with a particular focus on neurorestorology, stem cell transplantation and new cell technologies in neuro-oncology. Moreover, his contributions extend throughout the world through numerous international publications and presentations at prestigious conferences. His work spans diverse areas such as the treatment of spinal cord injury, brain tumor therapy, and the development of personalized anticancer cell systems.
